let’s get started
With mom, dad, grandma, or grandpa, these will be the yummiest bonbons ever.
-
Mixing the coconut magic.
Take a big bowl and put in the shredded coconut. Pour the condensed milk over it and mix everything well. Sticky hands alert.
-
Roll small balls with your hands and place them on a plate with baking paper. Put the balls in the fridge and let them rest for 30 minutes. Time for a mini break.
-
Melting the chocolate.
Ask mom, dad, grandpa, or grandma for help. Fill a small pan with a little water and place a heatproof bowl on top. Make sure the bowl doesn’t touch the water.
-
Break the chocolate into pieces and put them in the bowl. Turn the heat on low and keep stirring until the chocolate is completely melted. Mmm… do you smell that? Take the bowl off the heat.
-
Dipping & decorating.
Take the coconut balls out of the fridge and roll them in the melted chocolate. Get ready for some sticky fun. Place them back on the baking paper and sprinkle some extra coconut on top for a pretty finish. Put the bonbons in the fridge and wait at least 2 hours until they’re firm. Can’t wait? Maybe you can sneak a tiny taste of the chocolate.
And then… time to enjoy!
